The therapist lifts and supports areas of the client’s body to address all surfaces. With connected, fluid motion, client and therapist collaborate in a dance of slow, patient exploration in muscle manipulation, stretching and movement. Gravity and the client’s weight assist in setting the depth and pressure of the work in response to the body’s needs. The session is intense and sacred, with a reverence for the client’s whole being and the work being accomplished.
